Commercial Projects
Our involvement in the commercial sector ranges across a complete spectrum of projects including office developments, financial institutions, corporate headquarters and business parks. Key to our success has been developing long term relationships and partnering agreements with our clients, enabling Cowlin to understand their needs and thereby deliver projects of exceptional value.
Education Projects
Cowlin Construction has extensive experience within the education market from primary and secondary schools, through to the further education and university sectors. We have developed long term relationships and framework agreements with many of our education clients. We are therefore acutely aware of the specific challenges of working in this environment, particularly when we undertake projects within an operational facility. We are currently involved in projects being delivered under the government’s BSF initiative and National Academy Framework.
Healthcare Projects
With a range of projects for NHS Trusts, Health Boards and working in partnership with specialist health sector developers, Cowlin Construction has a portfolio of healthcare projects second to none. From multi million pound new hospitals, new facilities within existing hospitals to the provision of GP surgeries and care homes, Cowlin’s experience is supporting improvements in the Health sector. Through our parent company, Balfour Beatty, we are also able to provide solutions through national initiatives including PFI, Procure 21 and LIFT.
Residential Projects
From the construction of multi-storey apartments to care homes, affordable housing, retirement villages and student accommodation, Cowlin are able to offer solutions to a wide range of residential needs. Our partnering approach has led to several framework contracts with Housing Associations, together with repeat order clients in the student accommodation market, resulting in projects being delivered in Plymouth, Exeter, Winchester, Newport, Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor.
Sports And Leisure Projects
In such a diverse market, that includes projects as far ranging as sports stadia, leisure centres, hotels and holiday parks, Cowlin have been able to demonstrate a variety of skills and experience. Key to our success has been our flexible approach and ability to work with our clients to achieve programme deadlines, given the need to meet seasonal demands and critical opening dates.
